Overview
The TFT-LCM Module is a color active matrix TFT LCD module using amorphous silicon TFT’s (Thin Film Transistors) as an active switching devices. This module has a 15.6 inch diagonally measured active area with FHD resolutions (1920 horizontal by 1080vertical pixel array). Each pixel is divided into RED, GREEN, BLUE dots which are arranged in vertical Stripe and this module can display 16.7 million colors.

Description
The WB156 is a 15.6″ FHD a-Si TFT-LCD module with the widest colour gamut in the DNR Touch module range: 90% NTSC, 16.7M colours. The WB156-M239L (280 cd/m²) suits standard indoor HMI and self-service terminal applications. The WB156-M156H (800–1000 cd/m²) is specified for outdoor kiosks, high-ambient environments, and colour-critical industrial display applications. Both variants share the same 350.76×204.96mm footprint and eDP interface. MOQ 10. Sample within 1 week.
1000 nit as the baseline — not the premium
Most 13.3″ FHD LCD modules are rated at 200–400 cd/m² for standard indoor use. The WB133-M116L ships at 1000 cd/m² — more than double the typical indoor standard — making it appropriate for deployments with strong overhead lighting, semi-outdoor installations with indirect natural light, or any application where screen visibility under variable ambient conditions matters. For integrators who need a lower-brightness, lower-power option, the WB133-M205H at 240–280 cd/m² uses the same footprint and interface with reduced backlight draw.
a-Si TFT: the proven choice for cost-sensitive industrial applications
The WB133 uses amorphous silicon TFT technology — the most widely deployed LCD panel technology in the industrial and commercial market. Where Oxide TFT offers performance advantages at very high resolution or in low-power display-always applications, a-Si TFT is the cost-effective standard for industrial HMI, medical equipment, and self-service terminals where broad driver ecosystem compatibility, long supply chain availability, and lower unit cost are priorities. 800:1 contrast ratio and 16.7M colour depth at 72% NTSC cover the full range of industrial and commercial display requirements.
Integration notes for hardware engineers
The WB133 drives via eDP 1.2 at 2.7Gbps/2-lane, operating from a 3.3V supply. No onboard backlight driver — the LED controller must be provided by the host system. At 307.6×183.05×7.3mm, this is a deeper module than some 13.3″ alternatives (the 7.3mm z-depth should be confirmed against enclosure clearance specs before finalising the BOM). Response time is 30ms (Tr+Td) at 60Hz — standard for HMI and commercial applications, not specified for high-motion or gaming contexts.
