Overview
This Open-cell is a color active matrix LCD open-cell incorporating Oxide TFT (Thin Film Transistor).It is composed of a color TFT-LCD panel, driver ICs, a control circuit and power supply circuit. Graphics and texts can be displayed on a 1920×3×1080 dots panel with 16,777,216 colors by using eDP (Embedded Display Port) Ver1.2 interface and supplying +3.3V DC supply voltage for TFT-LCD panel driving.
In this TFT-LCD panel, color filters for excellent color performance is incorporated to realize brighter and clearer pictures, making this open-cell optimum for use in multi-media applications.

Description
The WB116 is an Oxide TFT-LCD open-cell module delivering 1920×1080 FHD at 11.6 inches via eDP 1.2 interface. Available in 220 cd/m² (standard indoor) and 1000 cd/m² (high-brightness outdoor/high-ambient) configurations. Anti-glare 3H surface, 1000:1 contrast, 30,000-hour backlight lifespan. MOQ 10. Standard or high-brightness — two variants, one footprint
The WB116 family covers both core deployment environments from a single form factor. The WB116-M121L (220 cd/m²) is specified for controlled indoor environments: HMI panels, medical equipment displays, POS terminals, and industrial control equipment where ambient light is managed. The WB116-M122H (1000 cd/m²) is specified for sunlight-readable and high-ambient-light applications: outdoor kiosks, transit information displays, in-vehicle screens, and industrial environments with strong overhead or natural lighting. Both variants share the same 263.4×157.22×4.5mm footprint — meaning a design validated on one can switch to the other without mechanical redesign.
Oxide TFT-LCD: what it means for your integration
This is an Oxide TFT panel — not amorphous silicon. Oxide TFT offers lower leakage current, faster electron mobility, and better uniformity at high resolution compared to a-Si TFT at this size. For engineers integrating at the component level: the panel drives via eDP 1.2 at 2.7Gbps/2-lane, operates from a 3.3V supply, and does not include an onboard backlight driver — the backlight LED controller must be provided by the host system. The 25ms response time (Tr+Td) and 60Hz refresh are standard for industrial and commercial HMI applications; this is not a gaming or high-motion panel.
