Overview

WB238-M194L is a color active matrix TFT LCD MDL using amorphous silicon TFT’s(Thin Film Transistors) as an active switching devices. This Open Cell has a 23.8 inch diagonally measured active area with FHD resolutions (1920 horizontal by 1080 vertical pixel array). Each pixel is divided into RED, GREEN, BLUE dots which are arranged in vertical stripe and this module can display 16.7M colors. The TFT LCD panel is adapted for a low reflection and higher color type.

Description

The WB238-M194L is a 23.8″ FHD a-Si TFT-LCD module using dual-channel LVDS — the interface standard for legacy-compatible industrial controllers and existing LVDS-based system designs. The WB238-M194L (250 cd/m²) suits standard indoor applications. The WB238-M412H (800–1000 cd/m²) is specified for high-ambient and outdoor environments. Built for LVDS-based system designs

Unlike the eDP-interfaced modules in the DNR Touch range, the WB238-M194L uses 30-pin dual-channel LVDS (8-bit). This makes it the right choice for system designs built around existing LVDS controller architectures, replacement procurement for equipment using LVDS-interfaced panels, and integrators standardising on LVDS across a product line for driver and supply chain continuity. LVDS remains widely supported in industrial control hardware, and this interface choice means the WB238-M194L integrates without requiring an eDP-to-LVDS bridge or controller redesign.

Wide viewing angles, consistent colour — HADS technology explained

The WB238-M194L uses HADS (High Aperture-ratio Drive Scheme) panel technology, a wide-viewing-angle approach comparable in effect to IPS.
