The WB185 is a 30-pin dual-channel LVDS module with the fastest response time in the DNR Touch module range: 14ms (Tr+Td). Available in 270–300 cd/m² standard (WB185-M345L) and 900–1000 cd/m² high-brightness (WB185-M188H) — the widest brightness range of any module in the lineup. HADS technology delivers 89°/89°/89°/89° viewing angles. 1920×1080 FHD, 72% NTSC, 8-bit full colour. 5V supply (note: not 3.3V). MOQ 10. Sample within 1 week.

14ms — the fastest response in the module range
| At 14ms total response time (Tr+Td), the WB185 is the fastest module reviewed in the DNR Touch lineup. For comparison: the WH160 (16″) is 20ms; the WB116, WB133, WB156, and WB238 are 25–30ms. For applications where motion blur or input latency in the display matters — point-of-sale transaction displays, interactive kiosk screens, or HMI panels responding to fast process changes — the 14ms specification is the right choice. |
300 nit standard or 900–1000 nit high-brightness — widest range in the module lineup
| The WB185-M345L (270–300 cd/m²) suits controlled indoor environments: HMI panels, medical workstations, and self-service terminals where ambient light is managed. The WB185-M188H (900–1000 cd/m²) is specified for high-ambient-light and outdoor-adjacent deployments: sunlight-readable kiosks, transit displays, and industrial environments with strong overhead lighting. The 900–1000 nit range is the highest available among LVDS modules in the DNR Touch lineup. Both variants share the same 418×243.9mm footprint and LVDS interface. |
HADS wide-angle technology — explained
| HADS (High Aperture-ratio Drive Scheme) is a wide-viewing-angle panel technology comparable in effect to IPS. The WB185 delivers 89°/89°/89°/89° viewing angles in all four directions, with minimal colour shift at extreme angles. For shared-view applications — multi-operator HMI panels, wall-mounted displays, and self-service terminals where users approach from varying positions — 89° ensures consistent colour and contrast across the full viewing cone. |
Integration notes — 5V supply, LVDS, and HADS
| The WB185 operates from a 5V supply — the only module in the DNR Touch range reviewed with this requirement (all others are 3.3V). Confirm your power supply against this specification before finalising the BOM. Interface is 30-pin dual-channel LVDS (2ch, 8-bit) — compatible with LVDS controller architectures and the same interface family as the WB238 (23.8″). At 418×243.9×6.2mm, the WB185 is 6.2mm deep, similar to the WB238 (10.2mm) but significantly thicker than the eDP modules (WB140 at 2.8mm, WB116 at 4.5mm). RoHS compliant. |
