The FPM-1500M is built for the upgrade path from legacy 15-inch XGA industrial displays: 1024×768 native resolution, Windows 7/10/11 support, 350 cd/m² brightness, and a 50,000-hour backlight lifespan. IP65, fanless, DC 9–36V, 14 Intel CPU options from J6412 to Core i7-12th Gen. Plug the new board into your existing HMI software and enclosure — no display reconfiguration required. MOQ 10. Description
The 15″ XGA has been the factory floor standard for two decades. This is its upgrade.
The 15-inch 1024×768 display has been the dominant screen size for industrial HMI panels since the early 2000s. Vast installed bases of SCADA systems, CNC controllers, injection moulding machines, and industrial automation equipment were specced, wired, and commissioned around this format. The FPM-1500M runs 1024×768 natively, supports Windows 7 (the OS still running on millions of factory floor systems), and slots into the same 15-inch panel cutout as the displays it replaces. Upgrading the hardware doesn’t require reconfiguring the software or redesigning the enclosure.
50,000-hour lifespan — plan for the long term
At 50,000 hours of rated backlight lifespan, the FPM-1500M matches the FPM-1201M as one of the longest-running displays in the DNR Touch panel PC range. For a system running a single shift (8 hours/day), that’s over 17 years before the backlight reaches end of rated life. For continuous 24/7 operation, it’s over 5.7 years. In either case, the lifespan extends well beyond typical equipment refresh cycles.
Full colour depth — not a compromise
At 16.7M colours (24-bit), the FPM-1500M delivers full colour depth — unlike some compact panel PCs in the range that use 18-bit (262K) panels. For HMI interfaces that use colour coding to distinguish alarm states, process values, or equipment status, full 24-bit colour ensures that the software’s intended colour palette renders accurately on the display.
Built for the conditions that end standard hardware
IP65-rated front panel, fanless aluminium enclosure, 0°C to 60°C operating range. Chemical resistance to oils and cleaning agents. ATEX/explosion-proof version available. Front-access maintenance. M12 industrial connectors. PROFINET and EtherCAT support. DC 9–36V Phoenix connector. 4× USB 3.0 + 2× USB 2.0, 2× GbE RJ45, 2× COM RS-232/485, HDMI out.
14 CPU options — from entry HMI to 12th Gen Core i7
Full range from J6412 for standard replacement HMI to 12th Gen i7-1255U for forward-looking deployments that will run vision or edge AI workloads. Windows 7 support confirmed — relevant for sites running legacy SCADA software that hasn’t been updated.
