Environmental tolerance
IP65-rated front panel seals the operator interface against dust ingress and water jets — the standard industrial environments produce both. The operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C covers the full span from cold-start in unheated facilities to the sustained heat of machine rooms. Chemical resistance to oils and cleaning agents means routine industrial hygiene doesn’t degrade the unit. For deployments in classified hazardous areas, an ATEX/explosion-proof certified version is available.
Touch that works on the production floor
Standard capacitive touchscreens fail in the three conditions most common on an industrial floor: gloves, wet hands, and oil-contaminated surfaces. The 7″ panel PC is designed for all three. P-CAP multi-touch responds through standard industrial gloves, wipes clean without response degradation, and maintains accuracy in the presence of EMC interference from motors, welding equipment, and variable-frequency drives. The touch surface is rated to a lifespan measured in tens of millions of cycles — designed for the repetitive, high-frequency interaction of machine operators, not occasional office use.
Connectivity built for industrial infrastructure
Two GbE RJ45 ports (Intel i210-AT), four USB 3.0, two RS-232/485 COM ports, M.2 expansion for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and 5G, and support for PROFINET and EtherCAT industrial protocols — the connectivity stack is built for MES, SCADA, and PLC integration without adapters or workarounds. M12 industrial connectors provide vibration resistance in mobile or high-vibration installations. PoE power supply simplifies wiring runs in new installations.

Front-access maintenance means the unit can be serviced without removing it from the cabinet or dismantling the surrounding assembly. Watchdog timer (1–255 seconds, programmable) provides automatic recovery from software lock-up without physical intervention.
