A flat screen at 23.6″ creates uneven viewing distances between the screen centre and corners, uneven glare angles from overhead lighting, and a visual field that doesn’t match the natural curvature of peripheral vision. The C-curve corrects all three: the screen surface stays equidistant from the player’s eye position across its full width, the curvature angles overhead light sources out of the direct reflection path, and the wrap creates an immersive surround that pulls attention in rather than letting it drift to the sides.
